DATA MANAGEMENT
We
have created a system to manage Intellectual Property ("IP")
case record data that frees up significant professional time for in-house
IP departments as well as delivering an efficient management process
that allows us to effectively manage companies' IP portfolios for
them. Client remote access to the data is secure and is achieved either
through Internet Explorer or by direct dial. This can replace entirely
the need for clients to maintain and manage their own databases.
Alternatively, we can physically replicate case record data we hold
onto clients' own IT systems at agreed intervals providing more useful
data than is perhaps already available as the replication allows for
access to the IP portfolio by file number, application number, in-house
reference as well as chronologically access and, most importantly,
an ability to sort data by "deadline" date. The data replicated
also includes all correspondence issued and received by us on cases
and therefore the progress and status of our case work can be remotely
monitored at all times. This arrangement is particularly valuable
to clients operating in different time zones.
