European Patents

European patents (EP) are available to applicants seeking multi-country protection in Europe through the European Patent Office (EPO). This protection is valid in over three dozen European countries and provides access to three more "extension" countries.

Contact IP Portal (ipportal@murgitroyd.com) upon receipt of your Communication 71(3) to receive an estimate for IP Portal to take care of the payment of all outstanding official fees, the translation of your claims through our in-house Patent translation service and the filing of the translation of your claims. The EP validation department will report to you as soon as the process is completed and monitor your patent until grant. Upon grant of your European patent, we will guide you through the EP validation process.
