Murgitroyd & Company would like to thank the valued partners and guests who, despite the snow and freezing temperatures, attended the first in a series of breakfast seminars in the Knavesmire Manor Hotel in York on Wednesday 8 February 2012.

Running alongside Venturefest Yorkshire 2012, this seminar laid the foundations for the programme of seminars that will be held by our York office throughout the year. If you would like more details of these seminars, click here.

Exhibitors at Venturefest Yorkshire ranged from technology companies to universities and local, legal, accountancy and business advisors firms. Delegates travelled from across Yorkshire.

At the Murgitroyd & Company stand, as has become tradition, we gave delegates and exhibitors the chance to win a bottle of exclusive Murgitroyd & Company 12-year old single Highland malt. Congratulations go to the three lucky winners: Chris Earl of Express Data; Christopher Allen of Blacks Solicitors LLP and Dr. David Bunka of Aptamer Solutions Ltd.

Fiona McKenzie, Communications Coordinator at Murgitroyd & Company, was asked to speak, on camera, for Graduates Yorkshire’s film about employing graduates. Fiona was asked about why employing graduates is important for a business. In addition, she was given the opportunity to discuss Murgitroyd Advance, the new graduate programme for the coming year.

Venturefest Yorkshire gave Murgitroyd & Company an opportunity to strengthen relationships with its many local clients and partners as well as allowing it to build relationships with a number of potential new business associates. We would like to thank everyone at Venturefest for hosting the event.
